More than 120 artists or artistic groups have expressed their interest in the call for
“Culture au Futur” applications and 58 have submitted their full application!
The jury met on July 16 to choose the five artists who will take part in this great
Culture au Futur adventure that will run between September 2019 and the spring of
2020 in 5 great companies in the Loire region!
The internationally renowned visual artist Fabrice Hyber, a member of the Academy of Fine Arts from Vendée, chaired the jury, alongside Laurence Gâteau, director of the Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) of Pays de la Loire and representatives of the region and companies.
The five selected artists will soon invest five flagships of industry and crafts in the
Pays de la Loire region. For several months, they will be developing innovative projects with the help of the industry for which they will work. The research laboratories or higher education establishments will also bring their expertise for the project to be fully realized.

Highlights of Culture au Futur – Season 1
Culture au Futur, a concept invented by CreativeTech, shows how the Pays de la Loire region is a fertile and prosperous land for the development of craftsmanship and industry, research and innovation.
The official launch party for this Season 1 of Culture au Futur- “L’Incroyable
Manufacture!” will take place on October 8 at The Quai in Angers.
The results of the collaboration (prototypes and works) of this first season “L’Incroybale Manufacture!” will be presented to the general public during the Printemps de l’Innovation 2020.
