Kung Fu between art, sciences and new technologies
Part of a research project on the preservation of intangible heritage, Kung Fu Motion counts the history of Chinese martial art through science and new technologies. With the help of motion capture tools, practices and gestures are recorded and preciously preserved. It is not only a question of classical archiving, but of perpetuating an ancestral practice to inspire future generations, while offering a view of striking paintings.
Kung Fu Motion, an exhibition that highlights traditions and ancestral knowledge
Kung Fu Motion: L’archive vivante exhibition runs from April 28, 2018 to August 12, 2018, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Place Cosanday, CH-1015 Lausanne, Free admission.
