We did it! We are pleased to announce that the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) has selected the consortium of which we are a founding & lead partner, to inspire and facilitate collaborative innovation in all Cultural and Creative sectors across Europe for the next 15 years. CreativeTech and five other candidate consortia were selected following a call for proposals launched in October 2021 to establish the EIT Culture and Creativity sector.
We are very honored to have worked for nearly three years to conceive a Europe of culture and creativity alongside 50 passionate European partners, including the Centre Pompidou, BPI France, Cap Digital, Atos, Université de la Région Provence, Ogilvy, Ars Electronica (Austria), Mediapro (Spain), the city of Amsterdam (Netherlands), Fondazione Fitzcarraldo (Italy), the Goethe Institute (Germany), Uppsala University (Sweden), Kaapeli (Finland), and many others (to be discovered here)—and to have won this call for proposals!
After many months of hard work with the consortia to win this call, and with the book, The Next Renaissance: Culture and Creativity shaping Europe, published by Editions Odile Jacob last April (which we of course presented to you as a preview), we present below the actual official press release!

The power of Europe : what’s next ?
The power of the cultural and creative industries is limitless. It constitutes an essential driving force for economic growth, job creation, and the very essence of Europe.
It is with unbridled joy that CreativeTech is embarking on this great initiative starting early 2023 and to last almost 15 years! We will obviously keep you informed, but magnificent projects always at the border between arts and sciences, federating territories, with excellent partners are getting ready!
To artists, research actors, large and small companies, and even startups, let’s stay in touch because we will offer you a chance to participate in great projects!
