Making art in the digital age
You have 60 seconds to make a choice. That’s how this exhibition starts, referring to the binary computer system, the visitor has to make a choice between two trails, number 0 and number 1. No matter which one the audience choose, the digital in both of these trails is presented off the beaten track thanks to some works realised by artists born before or after the rise of the GAFA*.
Once visitors exit the exhibition, they can still see or hear some art works either on social medias or on the radio.
La Belle vie Numérique is far from clichés on digital representations and show how digital can be poetic.
*GAFA or GAFAM acronym referring to Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft.
An exhibition in relation with the way we use digital and how it can affect our feelings.
La Belle Vie Numérique exhibition runs from November 17, 2017 to March 18, 2018 at Fondation EDF, 6 rue Récamier, 75007 Paris. Free entry.
