JONONE, FONDATION CLEMENT

Street art, from streets to cultural institutions

If the name of John Parello does not ring a bell, perhaps JonOne’s name will call out to you. You have most certainly come across one of his works in the streets of Paris, at the Fondation Cartier or on a bottle of Perrier. You might had even seen him in New York in the 1980’s when he was tagging subways as a love act dedicated to Rosana. Whatever the reason of his works, JonOne’s art is easily recognizable. His work on colors, shapes, and textures, and his style that blends American abstract painting and tagging, set and fit both in urban environment as in prestigious institutions.

In this exhibition made by the Fondation Clément in Martinique, the audience is going through a journey to see again and again the colorful works of this artist!
